Covid-19 (Corona Virus) Self Isolation and Essential Workers – Rooms Available to Rent – Auckland
Your health and well-being is the most important thing in these challenging times.
As the global Coronavirus outbreak continues to evolve, we wanted to share with you some important information about what the Greenlane Manor is doing to safeguard guests and staff.
Minimising the risk to exposure remains our highest priority. We have implemented protocols and procedures that ensure that every process from ‘check in’ to individual room sanitation is in line with official World Health Organisation (WHO), Ministry of Health and local authorities. This includes but is not limited to:
- 1. Rigorous cleaning, sanitising and disinfecting of individual rooms
- 2. The implementation of consistent hand hygiene measures for all staff
- 3. Ensuring social distancing and minimal direct contact
With Covid-19 the world faces a huge challenge. An invisible enemy is difficult to fight so our governments are taking all the necessary steps to reduce our risk of exposure. Some of these steps include:
- Social distancing.
Whilst social distancing affects all of us it needs to be done in a way that allows life to go on. Self-Isolation can be difficult and for some of us a real challenge.
What is self-Isolation? Where can I self isolate? Need help with self Isolation?
Self-isolation is an effective precautionary measure to protect those around you – your family, friends, colleagues – from contracting COVID-19. It means taking simple, common-sense steps to avoid close contact with other people as much as possible, like you would with the seasonal flu virus. We know it’s a stressful time, but taking these measures will help protect you, your family and all of New Zealand from COVID-19 and other common infectious diseases.
Self-Isolation – What should I do?
You can find some great information on New Zealand’s official GOVT website:
Greenlane Manor would like to make their facilities available for those in need.
This includes the following circumstances:
- 1. Visitors from another country that need to self isolate in short term, self contained rental accommodation.
- 2. Families that need to provide a safe and secure environment for a family member to self-isolate.
- 3. Workers who need to self-isolate whilst still providing essential services.
If you need help with self-isolation or you require self contained accommodation as an essential worker we welcome the opportunity to discuss your specific requirements and can provide a price on a weekly basis. Please fill in the form below.
Depending on your specific circumstances we will send you more information on our protocols, procedures and current services by email.
Alternatively, you may check out our rooms and availability on our website. When you book, please mention that you intend to rent a room for self-isolation or as an essential worker – again we will contact you to discuss the booking before final confirmation.
This is a tough time for all New Zealanders and visitors alike. By doing the right thing with kindness and understanding, we will get through this crisis
