What a weekend!!

What a weekend this weekend. Not only is the Auckland Food Show on but the Warriors are playing the Panthers in a must-win. Auckland is THE place to be this weekend. So let’s discus plans.

The Auckland Food Show goes from Thursday to Sunday and what a weekend this will be. Thursday through Saturday it goes from 10am to 6pm and Sunday it goes from 10am till 5pm at the ASB showgrounds, which is only a five-minute drive from us. If you can eat it or drink it, it will be at the show. Get ready to expand your taste buds by trying new and exciting foods or check out the latest wine and beers and try to find a new favourite. There will be celebrity chefs doing live cooking shows to give us new ideas on tastes and skills as well as being able to stock up on specials and then there is the sampling…..and of course a host of kitchen gadgets to fill your kitchen up with. There will be something here for everyone and it will be heaven for you foodies.

Then Warriors fans will be packing out Mt Smart Stadium to see if they get to stay in the top 8 when they play against the Panthers on Saturday. It will be a nail biter. So go and support the team and Coach McFadden. He has shifted Tuimoala Lolohea from the bench to fullback as part of his positional changes. This game with these two teams is gonna be a hot one.

So foodie fans and warrior fans we offer you a special weekend rate if you email us, but be quick as we are filling up fast. We are a very short car ride from the ASB showgrounds as well as Mt Smart stadium so why not make it a full weekend and go to both? We have rooms from the cheap to the luxury suite with glorious under floor heating, but whatever you choose you will have free Wi-Fi and parking, a minimum of tea and coffee facilities, double glazing and of course air-conditioning.
